The task: to overcome complexity

With the increasing number of medical devices being used in the OR, the number of controls is also increasing. But this also means: increasing complexity and increasingly difficult intuitive operation of the devices. For this reason, in the future different medical devices will be controlled via a single user interface. The prerequisites for this have in part already been created.

Open system provides opportunities for hospital operators and SME

Numerous partners have been working together in the OR.Net project to create standards which will enable medical equipment from different manufacturers to be networked in all manner of combinations. The project has already come a long way – international standards and clinical studies are expected soon.
