Wireless receivers / repeaters
Wireless receivers are mounted inside control cabinets. They receive and process signals sent to them by wireless switching devices in the field. Different models are available for top hat rail mounting, varying, for example, in width and the number of switching outputs (one, two or four). In addition to receivers with relay outputs, the range includes variants with RS-232 and TCP/IP gateways.
Since the receivers are usually mounted inside control cabinets located outside Ex zones, they can also process wireless signals from explosion-protected wireless switchgear.
All the wireless receivers are very simple to assign to their wireless switching devices, requiring just a few steps in the teach-in mode.
Repeaters can be used to amplify signals and increase the range between transmitter and receiver. First-level repeaters double the wireless distance, while the combination with second-level repeaters can further increase the range of the wireless signal.
