Ex pull-wire switches are suitable as transducers for starting machines or to open and close electrically-powered doors, gates and barriers.

Design and operating principle

Ex pull-wire switches are actuated manually by pulling. The pull-wire switches generate a switching impulse on actuation.

All Ex pull-wire switches presented in this chapter bear the CE mark according to the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and to ATEX 2014/34/EU. The Ex pull-wire switches per equipment category 3D bear the CE mark without the number of the notified body and have received a EU declaration of manufacturer conformity.
