Three columns symbolizing the three business divisions visible even from a distance, muted colouring, a contained presentation of the products and generous space for consultations: this is the concept that has already obtained several awards for steute and the booth construction company - among others the internationally famous »Gold Award« of the US American »Exhibitor's Award« magazine.
Now the Deutscher Rat für Formgebung (German council for design) has nominated the booth that presented the steute business area Medical Equipment on the Medica 2005 for the design award 2008. Even this nomination is an honour; for the design award 2008 is regarded as »award of the awards«. Only products and concepts are qualified which have already been awarded for their successful design. In this case it is the DDC award which has been awarded to steute by the Deutsche Designer Club (German designer club) for the Medica presentation.
The steute business division Medical Equipment develops and manufactures ergonomic switchgear to control for example dental chairs and patient beds and furthermore highly complex devices for laser surgery. These products are optimally presented on the Medica booth. One part is fit flush in illuminated cases on the walls and the other part in pull-out display cabinets. The turquoise coloured light represents the colour of the business division; the generous impression leaves enough space for consultation on the booth.
